NAME: cyanogen, ethanedinitrile
FORMULA: C2N2
AUTHOR(YEAR): Halpern(2018)
T: 298K
λ: 161.947-171.033nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: J.B. Halpern, "The C 1Bu ← X 1Σg+ transition of ethanedinitrile (C2N2): Assignment of the electronic state origin and vibrational bands", J. Phys. Chem. A 122, 7790-7796 (2018); DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpca.8b06235
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements using a 0.3 m MacPherson model 218 vacuum-UV monochromator operated in the second order (0.03 nm bandwidth, space between points measured 0.004 nm) with a 10 W Hellma deuterium lamp and a 2400 grooves/mm UV grating (Howard University)

Absorption cross sections at intervals of 0.005 nm have been obtained by personal communication from Joshua Halpern (December 2018)
